Coming soon in November is a film, THE SON OF NO ONE, starring Channing Tatum. It's a story of a young cop assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, and an old secret threatens to destroy his life and his family.The movie also stars Al Pacino. The film was written and directed by Dito Montiel.
It sounds like a very interesting story. It'll be shown in the present and in flashback, too. A rookie cop is assigned to the 118 Precinct in the same district where he grew up. The Precinct Captain starts receiving letters about two unsolved murders that happened many years ago in the housing projects when the rookie cop was just a kid. These letters bring back bad memories and old secrets that begin to threaten his career and break up his family.
I think Channing is becoming a stronger actor. I really liked him in THE EAGLE. He has several movies coming out, THE VOW, Haywire, 21 JUMP STREET and G.I. JOE 2, to name a few.
Chan is married to Jenna Dewan. They met while filming STEP UP. They were together in the recent movie TEN YEAR.
