Welcome to Sunny Ocean City! You've moved here for the summer! But here is the catch. You live in New Jersey...in the Complex, which is actually a trailer park.

What's it like in the OC RP Community?

I knew it would be different (she smiles openly). It's a trailer park (She practically laughs as she sips her chilled water bottle). Still, it's cute. I love the vibe. I like having my own trailer. Although you just never know who you might meet. (Dakota shrugs and holds in another smile.) I've already had pink margaritas with the ladies three doors down from me. It was, you know, an outdoor thing. We had like a potluck of appetizers (she winces). They were fun. Except they wanted to marry me off to their nephews. Well, at least I have to go out with them, but not any time soon. (Dakota shakes her head no as if she will figure a way to get out of those dates). Thankfully, I met Fiona, who lives close by. Uh, dunno if we'll be friends. I think she came for the free stuff. She looks like she's not really a people person, but I just don't know her well, and you know, we stay out of each other's way. (Dakota nods) And then there is Nav, um, he's the handyman. He had to work on my toilet all ready. (Dakota grits a wince as if it were a terrible moment). I just hate the way we met, but he's super nice and always on the go. 

(Dakota winces more as if she has more to tell.) And there is this guy, with this kid hanging around. Not that it's against the law or anything. It's just I dunno. I wasn't expecting it. Anyway, there are still a lot of people I don't know yet and hope to see out and about. This place always seems to have a party somewhere. But you know, (she smiles) it's very quaint.

How is your trailer?

Well, like I said, that toilet issue. (She grits) It was a mess. But it's better now. I mean, it's very cozy. I have everything I need. You know, the essentials. Small kitchen. But it's fine. It's just me. I  have plenty of yogurt and fruit. I run every day at sunrise since I'm not working yet. Hopefully, soon I will find a job.  I guess the downside of living here is when it gets windy. (She nods.) It scared me one night. I found myself up all night. But the sirens didn't go off. Nothing on my phone about bad weather. Still, it has taken some getting used to. 

One good thing, I have a visiting cat. I don't know it's owner, but the cat is very friendly. He likes to visit when I'm reading outside. Yes, I tend to go outside more these days.
