Remembering Jesse

 

I kept looking days for this song on the internet. I kept thinking..this has to be Jesse McCartney. I had found the song on an old mix I had made with the title "Waiting" and I couldn't remember who sang it. Of course, googling wasn't much help. All sorts of songs came up. Finally, I gave it one last try and found it!

How could I forget? I used to listen to his songs all the time..and then I didn't.

Truly, I always felt Jesse was above the rest. Maybe it's the certain drama in his voice or the idea he could have been the kid that broke out on Broadway. Aw..the song is a complicated love story. I doubt either Justin could give it the justice he does.

Hopefully, he and Katie Peterson tie the knot soon!

The story of  WuXie & Zhang Qiling from the Lost Tomb series(aka Grave Diggers Chronicles). The latest from Kennedy. There have been a lot of productions about these two in C-dramas. And this one has a woman's touch in the screenwriting end. I have been waiting for this drama..although, no subtitles yet. Still, adventure awaits, and in this tale, this is an early adventure with the Iron Triangle. Yes, Fatty always gives a bit of comedy relief. Many are ready to sink into an older version of WuXie in the Reunion series. But I like an earlier version of WuXie before he got too set in ways. And the third uncle is in this series too. Generally, WuXie is wandering around in these tombs half the time wondering where his uncle went.

my kind of sweater weather

 Zhang Ming En made his debut in Mystic Nine (which I loved) later Tomb of the Sand (and even better). Loved his bromance in Tientsin Mystic with Li Xian. Something about him is a fresh face with a very old soul. Oh, and this fellow can move in such mysterious ways. He can be so serious and then smile! Look for him in Tientsin Mystic 2, and Insect Totum. I think I like his adventures in C-Dramas over his romances (super great in Destiny's Love), but still..he's one to watch for!

In case you need to binge-watch one of your favorites from possibly High School (2016). But can it really replace the book?

Trivia: This is Jeremy Irvine's first young adult adaptation film after turning down the roles of Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games and Tobias 'Four' Eaton in Divergent. He previously stated that he didn't want the fame that comes with those type of roles.

It was a while ago. Drama Fever was still on and I watched these two in a drama, but I never finished it.  Ha Seok Jin and Go Ah Sung in Radiant Office (2017). She found out she was dying and ended up getting a job. Of course, he was her boss and the worst at that. Jin seems to be very good at snooty roles. Sung is like an unsung hero in whatever she's in.

 Oh, it just might be Darren Wang! in THE WOLF. Now on Viki! Seriously he can go from Mogoli Boy to the next best brave of the clan in an instant. Granted, the first episode is a little too much Bambi (at least for me in the Chinese classic fantasy) And the computer-generated wolves are a little too sexy for their own good, perhaps. But still, it gets the story set in place and ready for action co-starring the lovely Li Qin. Oh yeah, some magic happens and the chemistry is there too!
