When are the holidays ever perfect? I watched SNL's Christmas Special other night and of course, it brought back a lot memories of the past and some good laughs. That one where everyone gets something in the family, including the dog..but MOM. Well, that's me.
I am sure the hubby thinks I have been a demon this week. After all, things are falling apart in the kitchen. All I can say, I'm thankful we aren't having Christmas here.
Last year, I felt it was an open house. Throughout the day, we had company. It wasn't easy keeping food warm, especially since brunch started and then went into snack overdrive.
This year it has been a rollercoaster of things happening with my mother-in-law..on top of everything else. All I can say, I just want to stay home and relax, but I still find I need to wrap more packages. Hopefully, it will all work out.
I did manage to get a good many of my co-workers something. It wasn't a lot, but at least I gave them a card thanking them for their hard work. The maker's space gals gave me a pink Christmas tree for my Barbies.
Still, you know how it is, feeling you are moving slowly in a fast-paced world. I hope you are all finding the beautiful part of the Christmas. All the best to your weekend before Christmas. Oh, and I got that Christmas Sweater finally made for someone. ❤️❤️๐๐๐๐
