Ocean City RP

 "What took you so long?" Han's question only makes Ezra fume more. Just what he needs when he gets back to the van.

"I thought you left hours ago?" Ezra can't help to be angry. He can't seem to get away from his best high school friend. In the back of his mind, he remembers what Fiona informed him less than an hour ago. "He's in love with you, that's why."

He doesn't believe her. She's always trying to veer off from the subject of the two of them (Fiona & Ezra) being alone together.

"I thought I'd wait until you got back from your shower."

Han says he's been editing an interview he made, but Ezra has his doubts. Ezra looks over at the game they'd been playing earlier. He thinks someone has just been playing the video game.

Han looks back at him as if Ezra needs to explain himself.

"All right, Fiona wanted Nachos."

Ezra fesses up that he hadn't meant to stay so long. All he'd wanted was a shower. At least he went to the bathroom at Fiona's before he came home.

On the other hand, there were those NACHOS.

This was not an easy feat. He had to shred the cheese and, thankfully, found a can of chili. It was not his best work, but she ate it like it might have been a Michelin masterpiece. She always took a lot out of him, and there wasn't even anything romantic going on.

Ezra thought his life sucked, but Han always found it so interesting. All Fiona could talk about was how no one liked her. In the end, he was certain she was the one who didn't like herself.

It felt endless to cheer her up. Now he felt like a fool, drained of the energy when he was so excited to see her. Life just kept giving him lemons, and he was tiring of lemonade.

"I'll just stay the night," Han shrugs.

"Whatever," Ezra guesses, it would be nice to not be alone. Han goes to the other side of the van and places the cushions where he can sleep.

It feels a little like summer camp, but Ezra knows he's supposed to be a grownup now, even if no one has quite noticed yet.
