| Or why I haven't had time to blog as much as I have wanted to. |
Getting back on schedule after the holidays can be trying. I have hit a few snags. Extra weekends to work at the library. Cover more hours due to co-workers, either on vacation or have suddenly had to leave, and my health issues.
I found out yesterday that I need a tooth extraction. I had a feeling for quite a while that I would need one. But the back tooth just got worse, and I wasn't sure if it was my ear or my tooth. Also, my whole left arm has been a bitch this last year too, with frozen shoulder. I've been to endless physical therapy. It felt like it was getting better, but the doctor doesn't think so. So more shots.
And the new life with wearing a sensor for my diabetes. I liked the old app better than the new one. It is very annoying at night, waking me up for no good reason. It is about 30 points off at times. Telling me my blood sugar is too low when it isn't. And while this condition started out as Type 2 a while ago is becoming Latent Diabetes. What used to work in my diet doesn't work anymore.
I try not to eat more than 190 calories for each meal. This means smaller meals. I've become a snacker. Carrots and peautbutter definitely get me through the day as well as air popcorn. Recently, I came across Lily's No Sugar chocolate chips, and I made a delightful fudge (almost a cup of heavy cream melted with a bag of chips that you refrigerate a few hours before cutting). They also make chocolate bars.
Also, I found a sweet treasure on eBay! The Ryan fashionista from 2009! And I hope to keep writing when I have the time.
