Cursed - DVD review
With all this buzz of TEEN WOLF in full swing, I got to wondering about WEREWOLF movies. Granted, some say the writing on TEEN WOLF is a lot to be desired. Still, you have some adorable reactions from Tyler Posey as Scott McCall who seems to be the last to know he's a wolf boy. Seriously, I've witness worse writing on TV.
Back in 2005, Wes Craven directed a movie about siblings who save a woman from a car accident, but somehow end up being attacked and are on their way to becoming werewolves.
Those siblings in the movie...(Jimmy) Jesse Eisenberg and (Ellie) Christina Ricci. The werewolf that put them in this predicument is played by Joshua Jackson.
Problem: They just didn't quite transform enough. Sure the show had suspense, but still, the small changes weren't quite enough. They had a mission, in order to get over their problem...kill the werewolf that bit them. Wes Craven directed the film and Kevin Williamson wrote the story. Perhaps if Craven had written it, the story would have had more horror. As it was..it wasn't quite a dark comedy, either.
Their was a cool supporting cast. Shannon Elisabeth, Milo Ventimiglia and even Portia de Rossi.
If you need a Jesse Eisenberg fix and also in the mood for a werewolf movie, you should check it out. I won't say its fantastic, but you get to see Jesse crawl on the ceiling.
STORYLINE: Ellie has been taking care of her younger brother Jimmy since their parents death. One night after picking him up from a party they are involved in a car accident on Mullholland Drive. While trying to rescue a woman from the other car a creature attacks and kills her, also injuring both Ellie and Jimmy. After some research Jimmy realizes the creature could only have been a werewolf.

Milo Ventimiglia is a name I haven't heard in a long time- I stopped watching heroes soooo long ago but he is definitely a bit of eye candy! Haha!
