Here's a movie based on Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n Roll Rivalry. Actually, the movie is base on a book by the name KILLING BONO. It starts Ben Barnes and Robert Sheehan as brothers, the McCormick Brothers. And Irish tale of would be Rockers, who just so happen to be school mates of U2's Bono.
This was also Pete Postlethwaite's last film. He was a wonderful Brittish actor who always gave his all in any movie with so much character.
The film was a lot of fun for Ben Barnes and Robert Sheehan. Barnes got to even share that wonderful voice of his. He was in a boy-band (Hyrise; his band performed their song, "Leading Me On" in 2004 for Eurovision Song Contest) before he got into serious acting.

But since the movie was based on a true story, usually means it won't be a perfect movie. Yet, for the most part, the casting was brilliant and Martin McCann played a wonderful Bono.
Its an interesting film to see how a band grows and how fame and stardom change them.
STORYLINE: Two brothers attempt to become global rock stars but can only look on as old school friends U2 become the biggest band in the world.
