GOSSIP GIRL Psycho Killer - book review
Here is another fabulous prize I received from Cafe Fashionista, just in time for Halloween.
Oh, its like having CeCe's own fan fiction of her original work. Gossip Girl, Psycho Killer, a re-imagined and expanded slasher edition of the first groundbreaking Gossip Girl novel, featuring all new grisly scenes and over-the-top gore by #1 New York Times bestselling author Cecily von Ziegesar.
I often imagined what it would be like if the whole cast went vamp one by one. I tried a little fan fic on the subject. But to have the own author of this juicy series to decide to re-think the original Gossip Girl story..OH MY! And I'm very glad it was Cecily von Ziegesar who decided to write this. No one quite knows the characters but the original author.
Just as in the original story, Serena returns from boarding school hoping to make amends with her BFF Blair Waldorf--things just haven't been the same since Nate Archibald came between them. But here's where our dark tale takes a turn: Serena decides that the only way for her to make things right with Blair is to eliminate Nate. If that means killing him, well, c'est la vie. Her attempted murder doesn't go unnoticed by Blair, however, who isn't about to let Serena kill whoever she wants-not when there's Cyrus Rose and Chuck Bass and Titi Coates and everyone else who's ever irritated Blair to get rid of first . . . .
1. You don't have to read the original version to enjoy this book.
2. This story definitely has a twist of humor.
3. The truth is out! Blair and Serena are psychotic!
So if you are in for a quirky and fashionable Halloween read..here's your ticket!
