The Haunting Hour: don't think about it ...flashback

Chances are you saw this R.L. Stine video growing up. It starred Emily Osment, gone goth as 13 year old Cassie Keller at a new school.

She's obsessed with Halloween while her little brother, Max is frightened of every little thing.

Of course, Cassie isn't completely weird, she notices Justin Beiber-like Cody Linely's Sean at school. However, the promised pumpkin queen, Brittany Curran has her eye on Sean too.

Cassie's feeling as if the whole world is against her at this new school and at home. She just wants her brother to stay out of her room. Anyway, a trip to the library leads her to the Halloween shop.. which of course, we know is not a good idea. But as luck would have it, she buys a book.

If that's not enough, she's sneaky and goes to the dance and plays a mean trick on the girl she thinks is mean to her. Add the mean girl's trick and a brother who's afraid of the dark, and they start to think. Soon a monster comes to the house. All because of that book.  The monster takes the brother and few others and well, Cassie and Sean have to save Halloween night. Or do they?

Cody now.

Brittany now.

Emily now.

Its a lot of fun. The soundtrack is sweet pop, through and through. Even Emily sings a song when the show is over. A great flick to remind you of Halloweens gone by while you eat your candy.

STORYLINE: Cassie's life changes when she moves and attends a high school ruled by the most beautiful girl in school, Priscilla and her beautiful sidekicks. Priscilla immediately takes a dislike to Cassie, and soon it's a battle between the two. But when Priscilla goes missing, along with Cassie's younger brother, Max, Cassie must go on an adventure and search for them before it's too late..

Here's a song from Emily's latest TV movie Cyberbully...
