Fiction Tuesday-Sometimes it Happens

Hannah's got a problem.

1. she broke up with her boyfriend.
2. its her senior year.
3. her best friend is away for the summer.
4. her best friend's boyfriend is left all alone.

What would you do if you found yourself falling for your best friend's guy?

It’s always about sex, there’s no way getting around it. But what else did he want from me? I mean, I know what else he wanted from me, but, I mean, besides that. We were doing Everything But! I am totally and completely the Everything But girl! I was getting very good at Everything But! I never complained about Everything But. I was constantly and happily ready and willing to give Everything But! Unless…Oh God. Am I horrible at Everything But?
Hannah - Sometimes It Happens, by Lauren Barnholdt, pp. 29

It doesn't help that Ava's Noah is a good guy and snagged Hannah a summer job. Oh, how things change when all four meet up at the start of a new school year. Its a year Hannah's gonna learn a lot about herself.

REMEMBER: Alternating chapters switch from the first day of senior year back to the summer. So while we know what happened between Hannah and Noah from very early on in the book, the chapters subtly build suspense as the pages unravel the mystery of how Hannah could come to hurt her best friend.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: Hannah's last day of junior year couldn't be worse. Her boyfriend, Sebastian, makes out with another girl right in front of her at a party.

Its a relate-able book for many of us.
