End of Watch

While Savages was more less a fantasy, bringing down the drugworld and having a 3 way, here we have a gritty story with shakey camera work about 2 young cops who do one little thing at a traffic stop that changes their lives forever. This is one movie that delivers.

This is a dark gritty realistic portrayal of life as an officer with an intense story thrown in to up the adrenaline. Easily one of the best cop films to come along in a while that could have worked without the shaky cam approach, but seems to have actually benefited from it more than anything.-rgblakely

Just finished watching the movie End of Watch and I just, I can’t, it was so good! I got so emotional towards the end. It really makes me miss being in the criminal justice academy in high school and wanting to major still in criminal justice (i have all my prerequisites in criminal justice before switching to nursing) Holy shit tho. Such an awesome movie. I will be replaying the it in my head on the car ride home. Damn.-LalaB

If you haven’t seen it PLEASE go see it. Definitely my favorite movie of 2012 and that’s saying a lot considering Batman coming out this year too.-epit

Could be the best bromance of the year!

SO GOOD. Gyllenhaal & Pena = perfect chemistry.-Nata

Anna Kendrick is certainly picking the right movies.

This was by far one of my favorite police movies I’ve ever seen. I liked it because it just felt so real (minus the cartel and the duo saving people everyday). By real I mean that it just felt very natural. What I liked about the movie was that it was serious at lot of moments but it also had very funny scenes. I also really liked the chemistry between Jake and Mike because it just felt so real. Anyways the movie was very entertaining and very well made.-charwoo

STORYLINE: Two young officers are marked for death after confiscating a small cache of money and firearms from the members of a notorious cartel, during a routine traffic stop.
