The Collection

Thinking you need the gore factor for December. Look no further. The Collector is back. Here is the sequel, The Collection.

Fun in that bloody disgusting body part soup kind of way.
I enjoyed it, but I think it was a downgrade from The Collector. It’s more apparent than ever that this is what is next from the Saw guys, and the borrowing from that series was borderline here. I wouldn’t have necessarily guessed the the relation in the first film (aside from all those mechanical traps they love to do, of course.)
That being said, as a pair the movies are a good, gross, and fun little duo.
I hear there’s another one coming. Fingers crossed that this doesn’t become played out, but I’ve got a bad feeling. -Kim

I .. adore Josh Stewart and I want him to get really famous and star in a bunch of really good movies so I can just stare at him forever-Ali

I was happy that they brought back Josh Stewert, He’s amazinggggg. Like hes a bad ass and kinda a whimp at the same time. I love it!-Erica

Storyline: Elena Peters (Emma Fitzpatrick) is taken by her friends to a secret party at an undisclosed location, where she becomes the latest victim of a psychopathic killer called the Collector, who kidnaps her and takes her to an abandoned hotel that he has transformed into a maze filled with deadly traps. To rescue her, Elena’s wealthy father (Christopher McDonald) hires a group of heavily-armed mercenaries, who coerce Arkin (Josh Stewart), the only man to have escaped the Collector, to lead them through the maze, but Arkin finds himself fighting for his life to save Elena.

I died on the inside. That movie took about 20 years off my life.- Maybe

The Collection screenplay written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, directed by Marcus Dunstan and starred Josh Stewart, Emma Fitzpatrick and Christopher McDonald. Dunstan made his debut in horror with The Collector in 2009.
