Gangster Squad

If you've been wanting Ryan and Emma to get together since Crazy Stupid Love, you've got your wish and a whole lot more. The movie is action packed and its Josh Brolin's  Sgt. John O'Mara who takes a hold of this movie, giving it more of a Dick Tracey flavor instead of The Untouchables.

GangsterSquad: Inglorious Bastards mixed with Oceans 11-Mp4
"I’m not an educated man, but I’ve read some history. Every kingdom comes up bloody. Every castle is built on a pile of bones.”
He's quite the bad ass in this film. Truly, an amazing actor.

The film definitely has that retro 40ish feel as a few good men are trying to take down the mob before they infest L.A. Sean Penn's Mickey Cohen is definitely brutal and quite the monster. A role the actor ate up completely.

I greet you from beyond the grave
Because Gangster Squad ACTUALLY killed me.
Holy shit.
I found NOTHING wrong with that film. Nothing.
Also, consider me officially aboard the Ryan Gosling train. My god.-novababy
This movie is no Zombieland.

Its a shoot'm up that takes the blows. A man's movie, and yet there is the beauty of the age you just can't overlook in the costumes and props and the way the film is shot.

Storyline: Los Angeles, 1949: A secret crew of police officers led by two determined sergeants work together in an effort to take down the ruthless mob king Mickey Cohen who runs the city.

Oooh I can't wait to see it! Though these days I have been too busy for going to the movies. May have to wait until it is out in Redbox.. I love a good Ryan Gosling romantic.. Even with a violent twist.
