Jeff, who lives at home

Since Freaks and Geeks I've known that Jason Segal would make a remarkable dramatic actor. He made Nick from the show so complex, and he played such a crazy EX in Undeclared, so it was great to see him once again in a role that was so quirky yet so serious. And thanks to the Duplass brothers' writing and directing they created such an extra-ordinary movie.

Even the role of Pat played by Ed Helms was remarkable in its own way too. It was definitely not the Ed we know on THE OFFICE, but Pat who thinks he's got everything in his life figured out, yet he really doesn't.

I'm so happy I finally got to see this film.

Everyone and everything is interconnected in this universe. Stay pure of heart and you will see the signs. Follow the signs, and you will uncover your destiny.
Jeff- Jeff Who Lives at Home

Jeff is obsessed with the movie SIGNS. However, he's looking for "signs" all around him to guide him through life. Of course, he gets a little sidetracked since he is a big pothead that lives in his mother's basement.

Yet the movie has three storylines going. What's going on with the secret admire his mother has a work? And his brother is spending money on things that his wife, Linda (played by Judy Greer) isn't too happy about.

Of course, there are moments one might wonder how Jeff actually gets through the day. He certainly can be a goofball. As the story plays out, we see his older brother Pat might not be as bright as he thought he was, either. Still this is a movie about siblings, about family and how will we figure out all this life stuff.

There are plenty of fun moments in the film, and yet the Duplass brothers have a way of bringing out the hidden drama in everyday life. I love their writing and I love how they get special moments out of the actors who play their characters.
