Non Fiction Tuesday - Beauty

Cafe Fashionista raves about Lauren Conrad. As well, she should. This book has some amazing info we all need to keep in our personal library. After all, Lauren is a TV reality goddess, who has her own clothing line at Kohl's and has written a teen book or two.
Book Description : In her first guide dedicated exclusively to beauty, Lauren covers everything you need to know to maximize your own beauty potential. From tips for creating a strong foundation and maintaining healthy skin and hair through diet, exercise, and all-around wellness to everyday makeup techniques and tricks of the trade for special-occasion looks, Lauren Conrad Beauty provides the advice you've been waiting for. Lauren's personal anecdotes and illustrated step-by-step lessons for makeup, hair, and nails will have you looking great for day or night.

Lauren Conrad is a television star, fashion designer, and #1 New York Times bestselling author best known for starring in the MTV hit series The Hills. She has been featured on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Elle, Teen Vogue, Us Weekly, Rolling Stone, and Entertainment Weekly, among others. She lives in Los Angeles.
"The conversational tone made me feel as if I had just attended a beauty night with my BFF; while the step-by-step information and photos left the impression that I had just had a one-on-one beauty consultation with a makeup artist. One thing's for sure...you'll never want to leave the beauty department after flipping through just a few pages!"-Erika (Cafefashionista)
This book was significantly better than LC's last book "Style Guide." It's too bad she didn't put that one out now after she had done a little more growing. My personal look is constantly evolving and changing and LC's book is full of great tips and tricks for those still in a learning curve when it comes to this beauty business.-Bozy
