Atlantis

BBCA has a new show on Saturday nights. It has just a wee bit feel of Merlin meets Robin Hood.

Storyline: Far from home, Jason washes up on the shores of the ancient and mysterious city of Atlantis.

Jason is played by Jack Donnelly. There is just something watchable about this actor. Oh, he's more than just eye-candy. While comic relief is by Mark Eddy as Hercules. Robert Emms (last seen as Insect Man on Kick-Ass 2) is Pythagoras the one of knowledge who befriends Jason when he comes to Atlantis, looking for his father. Oh, Pythagoras lives with Hercules so we soon have a trio who seem to follow trouble, or maybe its trouble that finds them.

All sorts of mythical characters on the show. Jemina Rooper plays Medusa.

Definitely, the show has a lot going for it with the seasoned cast. The show is filmed in Wales.

Wow BBC Atlantis is exactly like BBC Merlin. Complete with the slashy tension between a guy who looks a bit like Colin Morgan and a blonde dude. I dare you to watch both pilots side by side. I can hear the slash fiction writers already typing away.-M
