Cockneys v. Zombies

In the realm of Shun of the Dead comes yet another funny British Zombie movie. This time headlining Rasmus Hardiker and Harry Treadaway. Both have unusual comedic timing. They play brothers plotting to rob a bank to help the place where their grandfather lives.

However, some new builders find a crept and well, that's like opening a can of zombies. Soon mayhem begins. This is a mix of comedy and gore. And it wasn't until I saw the Lone Ranger that I saw just how funny Harry Treadaway can be.

If you like British humor in a Guy Ritchie sort of way and of course, bloody gore, well..this is plenty of fun for you. It also stars Jamie King and she can play just about anything.

I'd been waiting forever to see this film. Its finally on NetFlix.

STORYLINE: This British movie is about a group of inept criminals who decide to rob a bank so they can save their grandfather's retirement home from being demolished by developers. Meanwhile on another building site some workers dig up an old graveyard and they get bitten by the "undead" which sets off a chain reaction. Then the bank robbers are cornered by the police while in the process of the robbery, but when they exit they find that they are all dead as a result of the horde of zombies. They have to get to the retirement home before the zombies do!
