This movie is based on a true story and well..sometimes, true stories don't always make the best movies. Still Vanessa Hudgens was gutsy enough to take on this role in a very natural state. Of course, we might be asking ourselves ..like..couldn't she just get her act together. But as the movie plays out, you understand where she's coming from and the train wreck she is, just wants to get back on track. This film is gritty and sad..and yet hopeful.
