The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials

STORYLINE: After having escaped the Maze, the Gladers now face a new set of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles.

Newt came up to him, gave a sincere smile. ‘Glad you’re not bloody dead, Tommy. I’m really really glad.’
— The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

James Dashner's series comes to life again in the next step of the saga with Wes Ball directing!

Oh! You've got it all! From the horror of zombies to the sandstorms and even lightening. This film really keeps you on your toes with so much action, and yet there are those moments of emotion and unity.
Rosa Salazar as Brenda.

This time around the film adds 2 more actors from Game of Thrones. Aidan Gillen and Nathalie Emmanuel along with Jacob Lahland and Rosa Salazar. On one hand there is so much I love about the cast, the characters the story. Especially, Dylan O'Brien's Thomas leading the way and the bromance he has with Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and Minho (Ki Hong Lee). And yet by the end you felt you lived through one long commercial to get to the next movie.

Oh, well..the sets are amazing and honestly, I love these characters more than those from the other popular series we flock to see at the movies, as of late. Yes, the movie did plunge on and I was glad to be there every step of the way.

Needless to say..some who have read the series are dead set against the movie. But that always seems to happen.

I may have to check this series out - likely, I'd start with the books!
