Usually, I don't let anything get me down. No excuses..just write..but this year has been a different story..and as much as I loved my premise for "Ponyboy"..I didn't make it through.
However, I did get up to about 34000 words..and then I had problems with my back (Possibly work related). Then later, a few days ago my tooth cracked...
Maybe I didn't exactly like where the story was going too.
Yet, the little revelations I did come to with Xander Sanchez I will use in my story blog. So all it not lost. I still want to write about this character. I just wish I could have had a healthier November. -ellie
The worst epidemic ever seen is sweeping through Bundang, the suburb of Seoul. After smuggling illegal immigrants into the country, Byung-woo dies from an unknown virus. Soon after that, the same symptoms are plaguing scores of residents in Bundang. People are helpless against the airborne disease and the number of infected increases quickly, spreading chaos. As the worst-case scenario precaution, the city of half a million people, just 19 kilometers from Seoul, is about to be sealed off. The government orders a complete shutdown. Meanwhile, infectious disease specialist In-hye and rescue worker Ji-goo go into the closed city to find the blood serum of the index case, a crucial part of developing the vaccine.

I know..its that time of year...but in this pandemic, everything is going to hell in this Korean movie. It goes to show the selfless and the selfishness in people. And how sometimes, our fearless leaders are the most fearful of all. From 2013, how a little girl does save the day in the brink of a world gone mad.
Jang reminds me a lot of Sam Claflin. Maybe its the mouth. However, I don't think Sam has ever had the chance to be as versatile as Jang, especially in Korean drama.
Jang's Gun in Fated to Love You is a scene stealer from the very moment he arrives on screen. He's funny. He's emotional. You can't help but love his character.
Can I just say I'm so glad that Krysten Ritter took the role! She's perfect as Jessica. I love how she can land those one liners. She is just what Marvel needed.
That's how it is for us servants. No one pays you much heed; mostly you're invisible as furniture. Yet you overhear a conversation here, and add a little gossip there. A writing desk lies open and you cannot help but read a paper. Then you find something, something you should not have found. Irrepressible Biddy Leigh, under-cook at the foreboding Mawton Hall, only wants to marry her childhood sweetheart and set up her own tavern. But when her elderly master marries the young Lady Carinna, Biddy is unwittingly swept up in a world of scheming, secrets and lies. Forced to accompany her new mistress to Italy, Biddy takes with her an old household book of recipes, The Cook's Jewel, in which she records her observations. When she finds herself embroiled in a murderous conspiracy, Biddy realises that the secrets she holds could be the key to her survival - or her downfall ..

When I researched Georgian Cookery on Ivan Day’s course at his farm in Cumbria (www.historicfood.com), I was thrilled to find a glut of the golden fruits in a kitchen complete with a bright fire, spits and lots of complicated ironwork. “Taffety Tart” was on the menu, a British confection that Biddy Leigh, the heroine of my novel AN APPETITE FOR VIOLETS, bakes with “white fleshed pippins, pink quince, and a cinnamon stick that smelled like a breeze from the Indies.” I knew at once that Biddy should begin her gastronomic journey with the homely British challenge of turning a glut of glorious autumn fruit into a delicious tart. British food didn’t always receive a bad press; in the 1690s even a Frenchman, Monsieur Misson, praised the variety of puddings: “To come in Pudding Time is as much as to say, to come in the most lucky moment in the World.”
And you think you've got it bad? Oh..let this story take you to another world. Its a social history and yet there is such an intriguing mystery to this book. Its definitely a keeper to get you through the holidays! tumblr
Can't deny it! The finale goes by the book this go around. And people in the book who die..die in the movie too. That's all I'll say. You, can have a good cry now.
Sad this #MockingjayPart2 journey has come to an end. So thankful to have made such great friends and lucky to have met so many awesome fans. Love you guys and hope you enjoy the movie. - Liam Hemsworth
Stellan Skarsgard to the rescue at Detective River in a British show by way of NETFLIX. This intriguing show is about a detective who sees a colleague(Nicola Walker) killed...and she's still with him on the case at home, in the car. He talks to himself a lot. No one can see her. And other manifestations arrive. He doesn't call them ghosts, but sometimes, they just won't leave him alone. This might be Stellan's best role yet!
This is the week when many writers lose heart. The first week held much motivation. The second week crawls by, and you growl in disgust as your plans run off with your outline and wave goodbye from your office window.
I have not lost heart...or have I?
Actually, I'm half way there. Now if my laptop wouldn't have so many updates. Dang, if everything doesn't bother you. No TV. No going out with friends. Sorry I haven't posted much this week.
Life is full of expectations. For Brady Coldwell it’s always been about the game. Hockey is and always will be, his life. His family sacrificed everything to get him here and he won’t let them down. He knows what’s expected of him. Natalie Banks is no different. She too knows what it means to have everyone sacrifice for you. She knows about the debt that’s left owing in the end and the price you pay for making up your own mind. But when an innocent mistake lands them as roommates, neither of them is prepared for the feelings they have or the consequences of their actions. How do you negotiate matters of the heart? How do you say no when it simply feels so right?
Roommates, an unlikely romance! This book is actually written by Tara Brown.
This was over way too bloody quick! Just as I fell in love with the characters I was already 60% through and that’s not because it took me ages to fall in love, I fell in love quick but the book was quicker. I defiantly could have done with another 50-100 pages.
I loved Brady’s character, he was so cute and sweet-MadReader
This book has catapulted itself to my top five read recommendations to all of my friends. I read this book in a day because it was so dang awesome, I couldn't put it down. You know those books that you read where halfway through you realize that you haven't stopped smiling since Chapter 1? That is Roommates!-An Amazon Reader.
It just might be one of those reads that keeps you up, all night. Of course, it might be more slutty than romantic..so beware.
A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
Spectre is spectacular! As far as Bond movies go. Epic action! And the wonderful Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser! Still, many are saying the fault in the movie is the script. Oh well, if you're a Bond fan you are sure to be there for this one!
Thanks to his girlfriend (a photographer) he got into modeling back in 2009 and has taken Seoul by storm since. A native of Florida, he has a degree in film and hopes to one day make documentaries. Yeah, he always shows so much character in everything he does, from photo shoots to the runway. Some have labeled him THE KOREAN JESUS. I think he would be great on THE WALKING DEAD..you know a friend of Darrel's. koreanmodel.tumblr.com
She might remind you a bit of a grunge Adele. Yet she's got a voice of a lot of soul. This CD might be on your Christmas Wish List! Can you believe she's Rob Schneider's daughter? Her mother is London King. Elle is also a tattoo artist.
I've been swooning over him in PBS' INDIAN SUMMERS! But he is more than good looks! This bloke can stand his own in many different shows. He got his start in Horror on a show called Bedlam, playing Dan. He played Dev Kardek in Midsomer murders and has been on UK's Law & Order. Can't wait to see more of this very talented actor!
Here are some pointers from someone who’s done it before!
-Try to write everyday! NaNoWriMo is a lot like running. You start off pumped up and excited followed by you feeling like you’ve hit your limit. But once you power through that, it gets easier as your pace steadies. Word deficits can be tricky to recover from, so do your best to power through and make writing a habit- it does get easier to keep up the pace!
-Write based on your schedule. One of the hardest things is recovering from a word deficit (at least for me it was). To avoid falling behind, use the first week to test the waters and figure out what days are going to be easier for you to get writing done and what days will be more challenging. On days that you’ve got a solid amount of time and energy, try to write more than you have to so that on the days your schedule just won’t allow you to write too much, you won’t fall behind.
-Write for the next day’s word count. That sort of goes along with the previous tip, but I personally found it very helpful to be a day or two ahead. As important as it is to try and write every day, you’re going to have days where it just isn’t going to happen. Between the holidays, work, school, or worst of all- writers block, you’re bound to miss a day or two somewhere. It’s really nice to have that safety cushion.
-Don’t stop just because you hit your word quota for the day! If you’re on a hot streak, keep going! Even if you think you’ll be able to come back into it ready to continue where you left off, that isn’t always what ends up happening. Not to mention for every hot streak you find yourself on, you will end up with writers block eventually so try to have them off set each other! If you have an idea, get it on paper while it’s still fresh!
-Allow yourself to take breaks. One of the most challenging things about NaNoWriMo is the pressure to keep going in order to finish on time. That can make it very difficult especially when you have writers block. When you’re stuck, you can’t force it. You need to take a step back and focus on something else so that when you’re ready to start up again, you’ll have a fresher take on things.
-Remember the trick is to keep moving forward! Don’t worry about nitpicking, focus on getting the story out. There will be all the time in the world to edit when the month is over!
-The NaNoWriMo website (http://nanowrimo.org/) is really motivating. At least it was for me. Every time I updated my word count and saw my stats improving, it propelled me to keep going! It’s a great way to keep track of your pace and set goals for yourself.
-Knowing how your story is going to end is a huge help. Even if it’s just a snapshot or rough idea. It’s really helpful to have a finite destination especially when your writing is being paced out. Once you know the ending, all you have to do is fill the gaps to get yourself there!
-Have fun! NaNoWriMo is something you choose to do, meaning it’s something you should want to do, not a chore (even if it might feel like it some times)! So make sure you don’t stress yourself out, and have fun with it!-MM
Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) is a Chef who destroyed his career with drugs and diva behavior. He cleans up and returns to London, determined to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars.
What is it about Bradley Cooper and food? I might be wrong, but I thought he made a TV series 10 years ago, where his character was a chef. Anyway, this is a foodies delight!
