Ellie didn't know where to start. Especially, about Min-ho.
She could read the glare on Kaori's face, how could she? After all, Kaori wasn't fond of him. If only Min-ho was a teacher he might see what real teachers put up with, with students. It was true, Min-ho could be a smarty-pants with an ego that was just a little much. Somehow, Ellie got to know a different side of him, lately.
He truly wanted her to have her independence.
"You, don't need to worry. It's nothing serious." Ellie shrugged with a smile.
"That's what you said about Milo." Kaori looked at her as if she needed to be careful. "And..and what about Nico?"
"We're just friends." She said about Min-ho.
"But you've met his mother, something has to be going on." Kaori shook her head as she went to make tea.
Ellie only smiled. "I do like her. He's from a good family."
"Oh, and she's not trying to fix you two up?" Kaori's eyes were so big.
"I think, she's taking a break from that sort thing." Ellie told her about Min-ho's almost wedding. His bride left him at the alter. "Maybe..maybe we're in the same boat." He was alone now. "He's..he's helping me, he..he helped me find a place, in his apartment complex."
"Oh, really?" Kaori stared at Ellie as if she wanted to know every little thing going on with her and Min-ho. "Does Nico know?"
Ellie slightly winced. She nursed her bottom lip. She hadn't exactly gotten around to tell him everything. But she would. After all, he was only a phone call away.
I think Ellie should just confess.
