Kaori & Ellie prt. 33

Kaori & Ellie prt. 33

"So have we made up or not?" Micky asked while Yugi buttoned up his shirt and checked to see what was in the fridge.

As usual, Micky didn't have a thing to eat. Yugi shook his head.

"Why? Why?" Yugi wondered if Micky was as immature as he thought he was. As usual, Yugi supposed he was expecting too much out of his so-called boyfriend. "Do I have to do everything?" It was an effort to make time for Micky these days.

Yugi had gone back to the University. He'd be a certified phlebotomist by end of summer. It was a hectic schedule, and the hours he'd spent volunteering at blood drives were a great help, too. Yes, he wasn't going to be a janitor forever.

Of course, he put Micky in a bad mood.

Yugi thought of what Ellie asked him so long ago... "What do you see in that guy?"

Naturally, she told him he liked being someone's hero, didn't he?

Yugi sighed at the thought, she might be right. He didn't want to believe it, but life could get tiring.

And maybe all the love Micky could think of was physical, not from the heart.

"We need to buy groceries." He could at least stay around to go with him for a trip to the produce isle. But he looked in the cabinet, there were hardly any spices, just a bit of curry. "What do you do? When I'm not here." He looked back at him.

Micky barely gave a shrug. He was taking his time to get his clothes on.

"Will..you spend some time with...with Tan?" Yugi then asked. If they were going to be a family, Micky need to step it up with his son, Tan. There had to way to fix this, but at the moment it felt like a bridge with a great big gap in it.
