You said a lot of people were in your head and we weren't dating anymore. You also made my best friend fall in love with you. Yeah, you know what that meant. We hated each other... all because of you. The worst summer ever.
And then you went to California, we didn't think you were coming back. That was the summer Jay and I decided to be soulmates and never ever let a girl come between us.
Of course, you still act like you don't know us. And it hurts. I mean, we were thinking..why can't the three of us be soulmates? But you'd never go for that. After all, you probably have a neighborhood of people in that head of yours.

ReplyDeleteSomebody once told me to stay away from crazy people, but then that person died and I wish I had known them better. People are strange. That's what gives us character.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is intense. The last line, "After all, you probably have a neighborhood of people in that head of yours." is haunting and thought-provoking.
