Brooke still contends she never had a childhood. No she wasn't a ballerina nor an Olympic champ. She just went to boarding school. Her rich parents never had time for her and as much time as she spent in France she never got to see the sites.
Instead, her fondest memories were those bits of time spent in late Autumn in New England. She made quick friends with Libby who showed her around the mall and even knew the best drinks at the coffee shop were.
Yes, she had fond memories of Libby who's smile was genuine and perhaps quite the fangirl for boy bands. If it wasn't for Libby, Brooke was certain she'd be lost in pop culture. If only they'd kept in contact. Libby was the first girl Brooke ever loved and perhaps the last too.

ReplyDeleteUy que tierno fragmento. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteBoarding school sounds sad! Even if the sweater and kilt combo with the leaf is killer. Although, being an Olympian or ballerina sounds worse because then you can't even eat anything good and are under such scrutiny. Maybe someday Brooke will find Libby again and they can hit the mall. :)
ReplyDelete"One Pill Makes You Smaller" sounds interesting. I'm already hating on the professor who tells this girl that collages aren't real until you take your own photos. Art is art, dude!
