What would you wear?
Let's just say our warmest snows will be during December. Sometimes, it doesn't even stick. I know for some it's a real treat to have a Christmas while folks like me get pretty tired of it quick. There was a time I lived in Upstate NY and I'd hear so many folks say.."Oh, I can't wait to move to Florida!" I didn't understand. Well, live through a couple of winters there and you start to think..oh, they are so wise.
But I gotta say some of the best strawberries I ever had were from the border of Canada and I think the snowfall might have had something to do with it. Of course, the older I get and you have to deal with it..the less I like snow. Although I am fortunate to be where I am, the city and the state takes great care of their roads during the winter (unfortunately, the salt and whatnot on the roads usually take a toll on the roads so the rest of the year is the progress of fixing those roads). I guess you could say it's right up there with taking care of your health. There are always side-affects.
Of course, it's always fun to go sledding, skating and enjoying winter activities. Cause, you aren't going to want to do this in January or February unless you are a diehard for the winter.
Winters could be fun,

ReplyDeleteI'm with you; snow is a bummer. Interesting that it makes for prime strawberries, though. Also, those boots beat the band! :)
