A Face in the Crowd

Delia thought she had in made with she met Holden. She'd waited until she was almost out of the Uni to even date. So she thought she was old enough to evidently handle a Drama King. Only, he was a little too much to handle.

1. he wanted her attention.

2. he wanted her money.

A lot of the time, he never had a job. Naturally, this was the first warning her mother told her was not right. If they were a couple and they were going to live together then they needed to share the cost. But Holden had his dreams. He was going to make it big.

Delia thought this meant moving for New York City and being in some off-broadway something. Well, he said he would, but of course, he never really tried. He was not a builder in the theater department yet prided himself in being what every director would want. His charisma!

And he thought Delia should be his number one fangirl, too. But she couldn't. Honestly, she thought he was a bad actor from the get-go. Not that she was really a theater person. Her major was government. She also liked languages and knew Spanish, Chinese, and a little Russian.

Finally, she'd had enough. Of course, he wouldn't leave. She had to. After all, she was the one who got the call from Mexico City to work with the ambassador there. A dream job came true. Of course, Holden was going to hold on to that apartment, but she made sure it was in his name before she left. Hopefully, he'd get over the drama.

*URSTYLE is down. I hope it comes back. Because I really miss the place to make collages.

  2. Poor Delia! To get all the way through collage without ever having dated and then to end up with a narcissist leech! I was so glad when she left him for that great new job. That sucks about URSTYLE being down. Although I think this collage looks great. Delia's makeup is lovely!
