I have never made this, but I would like to. Lemon things are a summer favorite around here. Funny, the young and old love their lemon treats!

Are you friendenemies?
BEA: I should hope not. I mean we work together. I want to be her friend. I think she has a lot of guts to be who she is. I think a lot of her and her significant other. Sometimes, I worry about Andie's confidence. I mean, she has a strong personality. And she comes off really tough. But I do worry she will be alone. She has a way of pushing everybody away. I hope she'll change, but easier said than done.
ANDIE: I don't know why I'm so moody. I always have been. I've been a badass all my life. Evidently. I know I used to get in a lot of Girl Fights when I was young. You know, I had to be the leader of the pack. I guess. But..even that got old. And yeah, I came close to prison life. I have changed. A lot more than some may even know. Still, it's like my bark is a lot worse than my bite. Still, that doesn't keep me out of trouble. I don't seem to know when to keep my mouth shut. But I do admire Bea. I just guess I want her to have a better life. And I hope she has that with Frankie, but I doubt it.
We need our summer tunes. I thought this was cool. And I always have time for Charlie ❤️❤️❤️ & you know who...

What's your bucket list this summer?
RICO: Just to hang out with friends. You know, nurture those friendships. Nothing big. (he shrugs) I mean, I'm still kind of afraid. I don't want to get sick. So I don't really want to travel. And I'm not that big into concerts.
LIV: I want to go camping. I never liked it. With my family. They were very, um rustic. (a laugh gives way) We actually stayed in an old school bus one summer. I didn't realize it was going to be our home. So yeah, I was really glad when we got the house. Now, you know, I want to see everything nature has to offer with Rico. I always love anything he wants to do. I feel safe with him. I love our friendship. Yeah, this is our summer. (she grins)
Something fun to do at home..as if you have time for that, but maybe. Something to do with a friend.
OK, I might not know everything about Doctor Who but I do know I love Captain Jack! I was looking for the latest Dalecks movie trailer, but didn't come across it..however, I found this! If you are staying in, it's a great time to catch up with the Doctor!
And coming soon to Netflix!
Oh, foolish me..see a hat and I want to crochet it! While others would just say, "Just buy it, why don't you?" Well, it would cost to have it mailed even it were on sale. And besides, I gotta lot of yarn I need to do something with. I had started on a black one for me. Big mistake. I made it too small. I tried to learn more about crocheting a crown online, but it was no help. I just had to study the math that I knew of the circumference. I swear, I started out with 12 double crochets at the magic circle. Evidently, not. Finally, on my second one I made it big enough for a friend who's leaving. So I was happy I could make her something before she left for California. I'm not sure what she thinks of the bucket hat, but she does like blue and it's a cotton weight. So much goes into making a hat that I tend to forget. The size of the hook, the yarn and of course, patience.
Here's to hope you have a great first weekend of July ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙 P.S. my Cool Whip pie (with cream cheese and powdered sugar) was supposed to be Red, White, And Blue. Of course, I could not find the specific pie I was looking for that I thought I saw and saved on facebook. Anyway, After seeing how bad the lid looked on the pie. I just make red and blue jello and put it in a container like a parfait. I guess that'll work.
Una entrado muy loca para el prinmer domingo de julio. Lo que más me ha gustado es la canción del verano. Un deseo para este verano: leer un poquito y dedicar raticos al blog. Saludos

DeleteEnjoy your summer lemonade sounds good to start!
ReplyDeleteYo adoro al doctor who. Gracias por la receta de limonada. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy hodgepodge! You know I'm up for anything lemon, and Charlie Puth had me at One Call Away. Plus, I always love catching up with -- and getting a new angle on -- old characters in the interviews. "Friendenemies" tells us everything we know about Bea and Andie and then some. It made me feel a little sorry for Andie, what with the whole wounded bird under the scorpion thing. But when she said Frankie wasn't right for Bea, she lost a little credibility with me. Then again, maybe that's the point. And I can so relate to Rico with wanting to have a fun summer but also stay safe. It feels like everyone's forgotten about COVID -- but what if that's when it's most likely to strike? Still, Liv's enthusiasm is infectious. I hope their camping trip is a blast -- and better than the school bus! Finally, I feel your pain about your crocheting struggles. Not that I've ever dabbled in the fiber arts. But sometimes I'll be working on something that just won't cooperate. Today it was a parrot brooch that wouldn't lay right on a necklace. Nevertheless, I bet your friend was happy to get your hat as a going away gift. And also that you're your own harshest critic.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great 4th! I love lemonade in summer, which reminds me... I've hardly been getting it. Love the summery collage!
ReplyDeleteNice :-D
