Ichi (Sato Taiki) & Misao (Mikami Ai) |
I won't say it's controversial. But it can get annoying watching this kind of behavior going on at work. I was looking at the forum of others who watched this Japanese drama. Some were..DON'T WATCH IT.
It wasn't like it was that R rated. Yes, people were obviously getting together. Just two couples. I mean, if it had just a bit of what my PA friend tells me about at her job..well, there would have been a whole lot more suspense. And she works at a hospital.
So we have a story of misunderstandings at the office. Yet, the co-worker did tell her all about his other lovers. This alone seems to be therapeutic for the one telling the other everything while not so much for the one having to listen to it. Still, the main character was a bit of a poor little rich boy who never said what he should have said.
Near the end, they bring in the Dad who is a real ass. Talk about annoying. Evidently, he never got to marry who he wanted to marry because with money means mergers and powers. So he goes to the extreme making his son's girlfriend feel bad about all the problems she's causing in their family when all along it's just the dad causing problems.

Still, the ending fizzled, especially with Deno & Nao. I had such hope for the guy and the stray cats who met the poor little rich girl looking for love, although she is going to marry someone she doesn't love because that's what her rich family wants. That storyline had so much more potential and then ..like life..well, it didn't happen. I felt certain this story would be connected to the other story. It felt like a missed opportunity and of course, the drama could have gone on at least another eight episodes then. But it was a short drama.
I am beginning to think there are no perfect dramas. At least they didn't decide to drop off in the sea and die together like in one of the first Chinese dramas I watched. Talk about the last thing your expecting. Well, I was just mad.
Sorry it disappointed
ReplyDeleteAww, that's disappointing. Some shows have such potential...
ReplyDeleteThe flagged post... I've been blogging for years and have never had that. I wonder if someone complained or Blogger just "noticed" it. Sorry to hear about sleepless nights. And Cocaine Bear I have heard of but haven't been paying attention- will have to look. Hoping you have a great weekend!
Oh, I do hate when a show disappoints! Although I was heartened -- and amused! -- to read this line: "At least they didn't decide to drop off in the sea and die together like in one of the first Chinese dramas I watched." As always, you're a hoot! 🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉
