Hello September!

I was looking at topics for September, but I'm not sure it did any good. Do you have any goals?

Some say it's time to start a new fitness routine. That might mean going to the gym, but to some, just a good walk into fall might be all they need. While it is a great time to go cycling in this cooler weather. Yes, still plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.

This might be the month you want to take the train somewhere. Although it can get pricey and you might wish you'd flown there instead, you know it's the journey..isn't it?

Here there will be Applefests, cider, hard cider and of course...hometown apple donuts. A favorite in our family is apple fritters. Although, I couldn't say if we even have a real recipe for them. I think some Aunt just decided to put some sliced apple in the pancake batter and fry it hot oil by just dribbling it around with a spoon. You know like a funnel cake, but with apple! I'll wait til October to get into pumpkins.

Maybe you'll want to get into essential oils. You know, make your very own anti-age serum. It's good to have on hand Rosehip seed, Jojoba, Argan, Almond, Apricot and coconut oils. Hey, even a little avocado and olive oil from the kitchen helps too. Lavender and tree oil can be added too. I even put in a drop or two of Vitamin E, as well. Remember a little drop will do you.

September might mean it's time to get into some good mysteries. While I might think about it, but some fall cleaning should be in order. You know, see if you need a good cardigan or other Sweather Weather assortments.

Here's hoping you have a beautiful September..hopefully with cooler weather.

  1. I'm looking forward to fall walks and skittering leaves, the spooky moonlight in October lol. And cider! Yes. All the cider.

I love essential oils. Time to check out Global Scent Company again. They'll be at the Michigan renaissance Festival as always.

    2. I need that I have too many spiders... you mentioned avocado oil so I'll look into it. I've heard lavender keeps spiders away too, no idea if that's true.

I had to laugh at your story about the singer. How rude if he didn't say hi, even if it was a dream. And ooh if you think of the goth band let me know. I'd love to hear 'em!

I haven't seen that girl in YEARS. The story continues though... she got into comics after realizing I was into them during that SAME trip. We found a comic store and the rest was history

  3. So much fall fun here! I'm looking forward to apple cider donuts and mysteries too! Cleaning not so much, ha ha. Your family's apple fritters sound delicious. Even if -- hey, especially if! -- they were the result of a happy accident. Bring on the seasonal sweets! 💖🍎💖🍎💖🍎

I'm so glad you got to sleep in this weekend! That's the absolute best! 😴😴😴
