Sword & Fairy and what not

Really, this c-drama sank me in tears from time to time. It is quite a story that draws you in. And of course, very hard to explain. The story has someone of a deity realm, yet he brings back his original self to protect the one he loves (and this is all base on a RPG). If that's not enough, they go back in time and one in the group gets to visit the person she most cherishes. So yeah, it's got the feels, or real. Also as in many C-dramas you have that one FL that is all so cute in the beginning yet we realize her strength as the the drama plays out. In another storyline you have one who all thinks is a male but ends up being female. And yeah, I cried so much when the bad twin died....oh, I  have enjoyed this drama so much, in spite of all the tissues! And of course, every time I hear the male song in this, I think of the ML.

I found CUPCAKE wine on sale yesterday. 7 bucks! Originally 14 bucks. Red Velvet. Gotta say, not bad at all. A red wine and very good with pasta or steak. I had always wanted to try the CupCake wines, but never knew which one to pick. So I was happy to find this sale!

My diabetic 2 life. Who knew what trouble it would be to get a glucose monitor? Sigh...
It'll cost you. I'm learning what an insignificant disease it is. The Insurance barely paid anything on this new purchase. I should have expected that since they wouldn't give me one right away. When I did see the doctor he asked if I wanted to be on Ozempic and I said no. And he said good answer, "You don't need to lose any weight." Oh, I thought he was going to prescribe something..but NO. I have to wait and see an endocrinologist. Lord knows when that will be. Still, I'm able to know it down with some red wine. Yet, I don't want you to think I'm an alcoholic. I'm doing my best to make salad with brown rice pasta these days. I am trying..Really.

  1. This drama looks very interesting. About diabetes, it's such a delicate problem, but the good thing is that it can be controlled. Here in Brazil, treatment and medicine are "on the government's account" This way, everyone can keep their diabetes under control.

    1. Certainly it is a common problem that I have dealt with for decades and they still can't find the right hormone therapy for me. There are some horrible side affects I have had to deal with. It doesn't help that one of the drugs I have been recently on is no longer on the market and all this wait is depressing. It took weeks to get a new glucose monitoring system and I was out of pocket a lot. It always comes back to me when I don't think I am the one at fault.

    1. The thing is I am only on one diabetic medication and I am supposed to be on 2...and I have to see a specialist to find out what they will give me..until then..what ever I eat will turn to sugar. Things I didn't have a problem with..I am having a problem now.

  4. I'm so glad you're enjoying Sword & Fairy and all its feels! Entertainment that also makes you cry is always a treasure. Also, that's fun that you finally got to try cupcake wine! Everyone deserves a treat now and then; this taking care of the body business is tough! Speaking of which, I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles finding an endocrinologist and getting a glucose monitor. That monitor is exactly the sort of thing that insurance should cover instead of being just one more thing for you to worry about. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I'm pulling for you. Hang in there! 🧁😀🧁😀🧁😀🧁😀
