This is part of a contest I have on Urstyle..which I am making a monthly thing..trying to get young writers to showcase their character studies. And it can be kind of fun too. Of course, I usually write what I know.

Name: Reese Lawson Age: 21 Hometown: Springfield, Missouri Likes: Sweet things, kittens, puppies, and a guy named Rex she knew when she was eight, but he moved away and she's never met anyone as worthy as that farm boy who lived down the road from her. Dislikes: Big cities, traffic, people who say she's a hick, her mother, her brother, and a bunch of cousins who moved away and never called except for the holidays. She doesn't like her job at the deli either, but she lives with her Gram and helps out with the bills. Reese is in college, but she doesn't like it. She knows she'll be a college dropout. She did try her hand at beauty school, but shaving heads made her nervous. Her best friend wants to be a trans woman and that has taken a toll on her nerves with Frankie's transition through hormone therapy, but she supports her co-worker at the deli and that is probably the only reason she has stayed. Even if she feels Frankie doesn't care what she is going through.
