Happy Father's Day Weekend!

 

I don't know what it is about Miles Ming, but he tends to play the dad in at least a couple of C-dramas, and for the longest time, many thought he must be married with a family, but..you know, he's just a performer. Recently, he's gone the other direction in dramas so he won't get typecast. But really, it's Lennon Sun he played second fiddle to in Unforgettable Love. Let's hope Lennon will be in more dramas as a child actor who is now 8 going on 28, perhaps.

Anyway, I see more dads on duty at the library, the park and even the grocery store. And it is a delight to see. Oh, and those girl dads. Yes, that should be spotlighted too. 

Recently, I saw a dad with his toddler and a four-year-old girl. She needed to go the bathroom, and he said, "You can do it, all by yourself." Hahahahahaa..that didn't happen. She just needed Dad around.

This made me think of the time my hubby had to take our daughter to the bathroom when she was four. OH, THE DRAMA! Needless to say, it never happened again. It was at the library too.

Here's to all the dads, making time for the kids. They are so grateful and happy for the time you've served. Even when you become a grandpa, they need you around. You can even sleep through all their favorite YouTube shows, but they are happy you are there to cuddle up too.
