Hello Monday

Someone in the family had car troubles on Saturday. It was a miracle it got taken care of. If it were at the dealership, it might still be there waiting and expensive. Although it was expensive enough with the locksmith, at least a key is working, and so is the car. 

We have been expecting snow since last week, but it looks like light rain. We do need the rain. And I need more coffee.

A co-worker gave me a big bag of whole-bean coffee (Decaffe as well), and thankfully, the Vitamix grinds it up nicely. Occasionally, I grind up oats for flour, and that works well, too. And to think, when we got it all those years ago, smoothies were the only thing on our minds. 

Still, we have managed to make hot and cold soups in it. Yes, it is something I still need on my kitchen counter.
