Kim Sae Ron was a child actress who was in many Korean films that scored awards. And then she became a hit herself in several romcoms as a teen. I always felt she put her heart into her roles. I found her characters delightful. When I heard the news last night that she was found dead at her home at 24, I was in shock. I always felt she was much stronger than many in the Asian entertainment industry. All though, recently she'd been linked to scandal which we might never know the real story. A couple of years back she had a DUI. Asian stars are under so much scrutiny than here in the states. True they live such sheltered lives and many go into the industry to support their families. As much as a country (South Korea) has been enslaved since the beginning, I feel this type of slavery continues in ways many of us can't comprehend. Fans also believe everything they can find on the internet and are so judgemental which does not help an idol's mental health. Kim Sae Ron was to make season 2 of The Great Shaman Ga Do Shim.
