Undercover High School

Jung Hae Seong, an elite NIS agent facing demotion, goes undercover at Byeongmun High School to locate King Gojong’s missing gold bars. Posing as a student, he encounters O Su A, a contract Korean history teacher with dreams of becoming a full-time faculty member. As they grow closer, Hae Seong uncovers the school's dark corruption. With the help of others, he begins his fight against the powerful forces at play.

I have been a fan of Seo Kang Joon for a long time. And he get better and better. I like the choices he's made in dramas. And he seems to be doing well with anything that might have to do with detective stories. Of course, he is always good and bring those back stories to life too in the K-drama romance sense. The last time I had seen him was in 2020 in WHEN THE WEATHER IS FINE as an outcast who ran a bookstore who still longs for his first love who comes back to the farming village. But hey, this guy has even played an Android in ARE YOU HUMAN TO?

This time being coupled with Jin Ki Joo is a sweet surprise. She has great timing from comedy to taking on serious scenes. I remember her from COME AND HUG ME but my favorite was THE SECRET LIFE OF MY SECRETARY. 

I have enjoyed their story and the supporting cast, too. Of course, going back to high school covers bullying and the darkness of corrupt education. The drama is only 12 episodes.
