Celeste thought it might be too late. She had not meant to worry anyone about her doubts at work, but she was nervous around her supervisor. He was taking shortcuts from the facts that Celeste had gathered over the months that had turned into years while he sabotaged her work to make himself look better. Now was the time to let them know at City what was really happening in their department, but could she go through with it when he claimed all along she was his best friend, whom he trusted? She read over her email one last time, and then she hit SEND.
