Scarlet Tanager

Scarlet Tanager is becoming a St. Louis favorite, and with good reason — their record is great, and their live shows are just plain fun. What’s not to like?
Susan Logsdon fronts the six-piece indie pop group, which includes her husband (Michael Logsdon), another married couple (Josh and Jordan Shepherd, where Josh is Susan’s brother), and friends (Matt Davisdon and Dustin Kent). To say they’re close is an understatement, and to deny their on-stage enthusiasm is a lie — this is a band that loves music, and doesn’t mind letting you know.
