“But that’s the thing. I couldn’t let go. I couldn’t lose her. It was like I was in love with her, even though I didn’t know her. Kind of like love before first sight.” |
Ethan Wate - Beautiful Creatures (Book/movie): Normal Human being in the little Castertown called Gatlin. Smart, funny, assertive, believes that everyone can change his life and can make his own choices. But his biggest power: A heart full of love!-Alf |
If you like your southern gothic tale... well, you've got it. Thanks to Alden Ehrenreich. He definitely steals the show as the main character Ethan. Oh, if there just were more romantic boys like him around. He even makes those black rim glasses of his make geeky the sexiest. But it just might be that voice. Talk about the look of love. This guy has it. He was definitely my favorite part of the movie.
They had Ethan and Lena kissing constantly which bugged the crap out of me since they aren’t even supposed to be touching without difficulty. They were kissing, and all over each other. That probably bugged me more than anything, because yet again, that is a major thing that follows the book, which gets resolved at the very end.-LetyourselfgoCrazy |
Alice's Lena wasn't quite as convincing as Ethan. Still the two did have chemistry and I was glad for that. |
Thomas Mann got to makeout with Emmy Rossum a lot. |
Really disappointed..
at how Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia let their book which was so beautifully written, be turned into something that it’s not.The list of things that went wrong in that movie greatly out shadows the number of things that went right. I was expecting way more and a way better plot and storyline and I was let down worse than I could ever imagine.-Beauty |
Rumor has it that the weekend was pretty dismal for this film..so there might not be a sequel, which is sad because I really thought it was much better than any of the Twilight films (Such wonderful special effects, too) in spite if it didn't follow the ending like many of the fans wanted. However, this is one fine actor I look forward to seeing more of.-Cait |

ReplyDeleteI really loved the guy who played Ethan.
ReplyDeleteI thought the special effects were great. I'm kind of glad I didn't read the book now. I did like how the story ended.

I was so hoping Tiffany Boone's character would be Viola Davis's character's daughter..and she'd be a witch too.
