The Mortal Instruments : City of Bones

OMG why don’t people adore this film?! I went to see it on Wednesday and its all I can think about! The casting was perfect !!! Especially for Jace and even though they changed parts of it I enjoyed it more than the book ! It was fucking awesome!!! All the action scenes! Badass jemima west as Isabelle light wood! The film as a whole was amazing!-Oh You Are In My Veins

STORYLINE: Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures. Based on the worldwide best-selling book series.

The critics were in a tailspin over this one. Still it came in 3rd at the box office. The film really had an amazing cast. And the acting was spot on. Lily Collins was spot on as Clary. I thought Jamie Campbell Bower was perfect for Jace too. A lot of actors tried out for the role. Alex Pettyfer, Xavier Samuels, Max Irons and Douglas Booth. I'm glad they chose Jamie for the part. The film had so much to offer in action and storytelling.

Oh..and I can't forget Robert Sheehan as Simon!

Aidan Turner goes silver to play Luke in the film. The Werewolf Father figure that Clary thought she knew.

Kevin Zegers as Alec needs honorable mention. Can I hope he gets more air time..next movie.

Godfrey Gao dazzled as Magnus Bane! 

Hopefully, his hair will be short next time..but this man can make a seething villain. And I loved his scenes with Jamie.

Just saw The Mortal Instruments; City of Bones and I loved it. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that Clary’s character didn’t stay true to the book’s description. 5’2”, red curly hair, green eyes, pale skin and freckles. Although I do love Lily Collins-Julie

So i’ve been to see City of Bones, twas quite good, definitely better than expected (mind you I was half expecting twilight level so that was a given…)-lling

I can´t stop fangirlig about how good the mortal instruments city of bones was! I just love Clary and Jace-hanna
