The movie is now on DVD and NetFlix too. Honestly, it wasn't as awful as I thought it would be. Although, the start was a little insulting because Miles Teller was so much a nuance. And all he could expand on was the F bomb.
Anyway, its a buddy film of friends from high school getting together to celebrate their brightest friend who might just go into med school. Justin Chon's Jeff Chang. Most of the time they are calling him Jeff Chang. Not Jeff..but Jeff Chang.
True its got HANGOVER written all over it..but twenty something style at college. And there are times that Justin Chon might as well be Bernie from WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S. Hopefully, no penis were harmed during this film. Especially, Justin's.
That one scene still haunts me.
But as this buddy trip progresses with beer pong and out running a buffalo at a bomb fire, Miller (Teller) and Casey (Skylar Astin) learn that Jeff Chang has had some problems at school. Then they wonder if Chang is a terrorist..or is he suicidal? They just might not know their high school friend as well as they thought they did.
And even Teller has some good lines after all. That is if you are willing to catch them.
