Mary is more than a girl in horror. She says she never thought she was type cast. She's been in Scott Pilgrim Saves the World. Recently in Mercy Street (an epic tale during the Civil War). She's done another almost period piece, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Still her characters are strong willed, as she was in THE THING. She's also in the TV series THE RETURNED as Rowan.
It's amazing how diverse the characters she has played are!
