It's amazing what we keep. You gotta wonder why we collect what we do. Naturally, over the course of time, we find new things to want. It can be bittersweet, pondering what to do before a catastrophe erupts and those things are gone. As the decades roll on, you are returned what you've given.
It seems no one wants those snapshots you sent them of that event or adventure. Yes, by then its all quite sad and you are stuck with more stuff to get rid of. What once bloomed withers and then ends up in the bottom of the closet, or something like that.
You're right, I'm terribly pessimistic, aren't I?
