MAXIE: It's official I'm an uncle now...so um, I think it's time. (he smiles)

AMBER: And I can't be an unofficial Auntie, now can I? (she smiles back) It's about time something happy happens. So many ups and downs. One week you think things are back to normal. Then suddenly it's now. Plenty of folks are still staying in. You know, home school, that kind of thing. I dunno, if we'll make, ends meet. 

MAXIE: But one thing for certain, we've decided to do it. Finally. (he looks at Amber and she nods).

AMBER: It was mutual you know. We talked it out. Can't say who's idea it really was.

MAXIE: But I had the ring. (He looks at her as if it really was his idea.

AMBER: And I said yes. (Her smile is open).

MAXIE: Yeah. Hard to believe huh?

AMBER: We really don't want a long engagement. (He nods) I always wanted a fall wedding.
