This was a tightly written and well-executed Korean film from 2021. I liked how the story went full circle. Of course, are any of the characters to be trusted in this film. A college student in dire need of money goes for an around-the-clock job to take care of a cult leader (we later find out) who is in a so-called coma who must be worth a fortune. Yet, everyone is looking to make a fortune and what will they go to..to succeed?
I found the film had such a terrific script and Chani (the young one in the photo) is such a natural. He's more than a K-pop star. Of course, some of the conversations were rather unexpected. In fact, a lot of unexpected things happen in this film. Truly, it was a unique film to watch. Such a great cast and the story is so intriguing. It's now on VIKI.

ReplyDeleteThis movie sounds intriguing. A cult leader always makes things interesting! And stories where we're not sure whom to trust keep us on our toes -- and force us to think differently about the casts of characters in our own lives. Thanks for a thought-provoking review!
