Let June Begin

 

We will have a parade this weekend near the university. Other festivities will happen during the month as well. I remember a friend telling me about going to someone's apartment in the old market to watch it last year. It was quite a party, according to him. Possibly he drank too much, but that's what happens. He said he was glad he could watch from the apartment instead of being on the street. It was a rather hot day. But we have had some mild temps this week so it should be a great day Saturday. Hopefully.

Google to check out what's going on in your neck of the woods. Generally, in this area, they like to have all sorts of happy things going on. Also, Taste of Omaha will be going on near the river which generally draws a  crowd. Hopefully, you will find much happiness during this time. Our area is becoming much more democratic than ever before so there are lots of interesting happenings in the LGBT community. I think we are more pro-trans these days in most activities. I hope. I see more trans at ease so I hope this is happening. Hopefully, where ever you are Pride month is full of happiness.
