Aw..the bromance

Truly in 2006 Unstoppable High Kick came along with Kim Bum who possibly had the best bromance at the time with Min Ho ( Kim Hye Sung). Of course, Bum's character was the side dude aka best friends who practically lived at his best friend's house. Add Jung II Woo to the mix as the taller and more handsome younger brother who always went solo, there was a lot of friction. And of course, Min Ho's girlfriend arrives. One more conflict. Yet, it's good to know all three co-stars were really close.

Somehow, I compare Kim Bum to Tyler Posey (a child actor as well as Kim Bum). They started out with bit parts. But Posey is most memorable from TEENWOLF where a lot of bromances were born. Although, I would have definitely taken this whole storyline in a different direction. As it was, the creator was always looking at the big picture. Yet there still managed to be a lot of holes and it left us hanging. Except for the main character's bromance with Stiles (who I feel always stole the show).

Now Posey is 30 and really into his music and whatever comes with that. While Bum is still working hard making those bromances happen in dramas. In Pandam Pandam,  he lost weight playing an angel and ended up with severe arthritis. Honestly, I don't see how he even had any weight to lose. Now he's making new fans with Tail of the Nine-Tailed with Lee Dong Wook. He's 33 and started out at 17 in Survival Star Audition where he placed 6th.

Anyway, we still need more bromances out there. After all, friendship is important.

  1. Who doesn't love a good bromance? That's awful about Posey losing so much weight for a role that he developed arthritis, though. Oh, the price of fame . . .
