Oh, I am not sure why I'm so exhausted. It's not like I have been moving boxes. Just going in circles with chores and of course, my doll clothes-making. Hahahahaha.. I wanted to use my sewing machine but that was a catastrophe! A whole piece of fabric got stuck in the machine. Ugh. Yes, about 45 minutes later after watching a few YouTube videos about what to do (I got nowhere) I used a little knife, scissors and even a razer and cleaned it all out. At least the machine was not harmed. So I ended up (hand sewing) making Ken a body swim trunk suit and one for Barbie too out of a sock and some ingenuity. I am probably sure I should have been doing something else. Especially to wake up to a little snow this morning. I feel certain I need a second cup of coffee already and I haven't finished the first one.
Anyway, after watching MyFroggStuff I am curious about more miniature items for my Barbies!
very nice
ReplyDeleteThat is cool you do the craft stuff- how do you do it all?- but sorry to hear about the snafu. How frustrating. Hope you have a relaxing rest of the weekend...
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about Molly Ringwald! And wow I haven't seen Some Kind of Wonderful in ages. I'm trying to remember the actress in that I had sort of a crush on. Ok I looked- it as Mary Stuart Masterson lol.
I love the idea of songs for a teen or SF movie. I should do tha tthis week for Top Ten.
Cool! I will be looking forward to that! Oh, it is inspiring to think of making clothes..but making them is not as much fun. Just when I got expelled from one roleplay (which I didn't want to do anyway) Somebody wanted me to help with hers (we do not write well together, unfortunately) Maybe I'll make a post on "roleplay"
DeleteAh costurar roupinhas pra Barbie é cute e adorável, mas sou como vc, não consigo! Nunca aprendi a costurar!
ReplyDeleteUm abraço! 😊
Te quedaron. La verdad que yo soy inútil para coser. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteYour Barbie clothes turned out fantastic! That's so cool that they began life as socks. I'm always so impressed by your fiber art forays; I know they're not easy (as evidenced by your sewing machine misadventure). And I agree that chores are exhausting! Yesterday I devoted myself to them (no computer, no crafting) and was surprised by how wiped out I felt by the end of the day. Although it was nice to have a (somewhat) clean house at the end, I'm still not sure it was worth it. 🧶🧺🧶🧺🧶🧺🧶🧺🧶🧺🧶🧺
