Lin Dong the Underdog. Chinese Cinema rolled with this story in two movies that came out in 2020 and 2021 with Wang Luo Jia as the hero of the story. These two films are now Viki and it looks like great fun from the trailers. I am hoping its a tightly written story because the TV series did seem to meander quite a bit as we waited for things to happen. 

Still, my favorite Lin Dong will be Yang Yang from the TV series (2018).

It was a wild series that took forever to watch. So I am glad to see it in film. The productions look amazing.

Possibly the best part of the TV series was the side story FIGHT BREAK SPHERE with Leo Wu. Of course, when Chinese talks of a sidestory it is comprehended more of a fan fiction of the original premise. Which in this series is about a boy righting the wrongs of his family's misfortunes.
