Starring: Anna Faris, Toni Collette
Director: Dean Craig
Synopsis: Two sisters try to win over their terminally ill, difficult-to-please aunt in hopes of becoming the beneficiaries of her wealthy estate, only to find the rest of their greedy family has the same idea.
Rumor has it that the screenplay is sharp along with the plot and humor. So it might be worth the watch.
Kathleen Turner is Queen with such sly humor. She's still got the voice and of course such great timing in comedy.
It's that time of year in spring when families get together. Well, here's an R Rated family all the way. If you are in need of an escape or need some time alone, you might want to sit through this one. Possibly, you'll just shake your head and be thankful they aren't your family.
David Duchovny is a rare treat these days. So if Anna nor Toni can't make you laugh maybe Duchovny can.
Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThe Estate looks awesome, and what a cast! Whenever I hear anything about David Duchovny, I think of that old song that goes "David Duchovny, why don't you love me?"π΅πΆπ΅πΆ Anyway, thanks for the tip; I'll keep an eye out for this movie!
ReplyDeleteThat's awful about your YA library being struck by Covid. And, yes, allergies are running rampant! I have them too. Stay strong and healthy! ππππππππππ
